Let us start with understanding how to create WPQuery objects. We will describe the commonly used WordPress functions to construct and use your own WPQuery objects. Example to create a WPQuery object for all posts with tag xyz and the category latest specify the argument list args C Level Email List array tag xyz category latest construct the query object query new WPQuery args So here we see that we specify the arguments as an array stored in the variable args. We then create a new WPQuery object with it and store the created object in the variable query.



This variable query referencing can be done in the later code to retrieve the information. WordPress defines various parameters which are sent as arguments to this function. Let us look at some of these parameters and the methods to create WPQuery objects with varying argument list. WPQuery by id The WPQuery object helps in retrieving the post or page by id using the p and pageis parameters respectively.
